There is no question that the cost of film stocks are completely out of our hands, however, the bulk of the cost in getting our negatives scanned and baptized is completely up to us.

Before I found camera scanning, I spent thousands of dollars on lab scans per year, then I transitioned into losing hours of my life sitting in front of a flatbed scanner, feeling as if there really was no answer either way. When I started camera scanning, I literally felt like I found the ticket to my career in film.

Camera scanning allowed me to maximize my time, scan in large TIFF files for free, have full control of the color/edits of my images, and ultimately was my answer to transitioning my business into film full time.

Not making this course, to me, would have meant withholding some of the most integral info I had ever discovered in my career, while in a community that so desperately needs it.
